Terry H. Jamerson is Publisher of the Roanoke Times in Roanoke, Va., and Vice President for the Virginia Community Newspapers of BH Media Group. In addition to Roanoke, she is responsible for Virginia daily and weekly newspapers in Lynchburg, Danville, Charlottesville, Richlands, Culpeper, Orange, Waynesboro, Wytheville, Bristol, Martinsville and Rocky Mount, along with associated websites and niche publications.
Ms. Jamerson grew up in Martinsville, Va., and is a 1979 graduate of Mary Baldwin College.
Prior to joining BH Media Group in 2012, she served in various management roles with Media General and Worrell newspapers. She has managed newspapers and multi-media offices in Texas, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Kentucky, Alabama and Virginia.
Ms. Jamerson serves as a board member for several organizations in the Roanoke Valley, including the Western Virginia Foundation for the Arts and Sciences (Center in the Square); United Way of Roanoke Valley; Downtown Roanoke, Inc.; Roanoke Regional Chamber of Commerce; Roanoke Regional Partnership; Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine; and GO Virginia Regional Council. She also serves as a board member on both the Southern Newspaper Publishers Association and Lynchburg College.
