Gayle Pryor is the Vice President of Audience Growth and Distribution for BH Media Group.
Mr. Pryor is a native Kentuckian and a product of the University of Kentucky. He started his newspaper career at The Herald-Leader in his hometown of Lexington, Ky, in 1980.
Mr. Pryor went on to manage circulation operations in Frederick, Md., and then several newspapers owned by Gannett, including Brevard County, Fla., Pensacola, Fla., and Rockford, Ill. He was named Vice President of Circulation for the Democrat and Chronicle in Rochester, N.Y. While there, he won the Gannett President’s Ring for Excellence.
In 1996, Mr. Pryor joined Thomson Newspapers as its Vice President of Circulation. Four years later, he took a role with a start-up company, Newsstand.com. He served as that company's Vice President of Newspapers.
In 2003, Mr. Pryor left Newsstand to become Vice President of Circulation for Media General. After the sale of Media General to BH Media Group in 2012, he assumed current role as Vice President of Audience Growth and Distribution.
